Do you amend tax returns from previous years?Yes, only for tax returns I've filed.

Will you assist in an audit?Although audit protection is included in your fees, sadly, audits are sometimes unpreventable which majority of the time don’t always mean there was something done wrong. BUT I will take the appropriate measures to lower all possibilities. So to answer your question….. Yes, I do assist in audits on taxes filed through MTS.

What is Audit protection?Audit protection protects clients from the IRS holding their refund until an audit investigation is done.

Someone I know had filed and already received their return. When can I expect mine?The IRS is FULLY responsible for processing times and there is NO WAY to determine which order returns are processed

Do I have an update?After your taxes have been filed the ONLY UPDATE you’ll receive is on IRS.gov “Where’s My Refund”

Who's routing and account number is listed on my 1040 form?There is a routing and account number in your paperwork on your 1040 form that is not your account info. It is the banking information that disperse your refunds. YOUR banking INFORMATION is also in your paperwork. On page 23

DocumentsBefore tax return is filed, I will send over paperwork for you to sign and send back to me. Your tax return documents will be encrypted for your protection. The password will be emailed separately. Incase you over look it, your password is the (first 4 letters of your last name & the last 4 digits of your social). If for whatever reason you don’t receive your documents please reach out as soon as possible for us to resend.

ChecksIf you elect to have your funds received by check, you will PERSONALLY be notified when your check is available for pickup which can normally take 1-2 business days. You can also opt in for your check to be mailed to you.

I mistakenly provided the wrong direct deposit info. What do I do?No worries, a check will be printed in office 2-3 business days after refund dispersed.

When will I receive my Federal Refund?Federal refund can take up to 21 days to process. -The link to check your Federal return status is https://www.irs.gov/refunds -If for whatever reason you receive a “still being processed” status on IRS.gov. No Worries! It could be for identity verification purposes. Make sure your ID.Me is updated and contact me for the next steps. If there is an update the IRS will send you a letter in the mail regarding your next steps. DO NOT THROW THOSE LETTERS AWAY.

When will I receive my State Refund?Sometimes State Taxes come before Federal Taxes. Sometimes Federal Taxes come before State Taxes. -State taxes can take up to 12 weeks.
